How Atlas organizes your research

A project keeps related sources, chats, notes, and maps together. Citations link answers in a chat to the sources that support them.

Follow one research loop

After the welcome cards, choose Start researching. On desktop, Atlas highlights the left, middle, and right panels before guiding you to add a source and ask a question. On mobile, you go straight to source entry. Use this research workflow:

1. Create a project for your question or topic.
2. Add the sources you want to study.
3. Ask a focused question about those sources.
4. Open the citations and check the answer against the sources.
5. Save useful findings in a note.

If you pause the tour, choose Continue on the Continue your tour reminder. Suggestions in the guide prepare a question for you to review and send.
