Delete your account

Account deletion is permanent. The Delete Account dialog states that Atlas deletes the account and its projects, notes, sources, and chats.

Before you delete

Atlas does not currently provide a documented self-service export. Save any material you need before deleting the account.

Deleting the account and canceling a subscription are different actions. For subscription changes, use Billing and subscriptions.

Choose a deletion reason

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Account.
3. Under Delete your account, select Delete account.
4. Read the Delete Account warning.
5. Choose a reason.

Atlas enables Delete after you choose a reason. If you choose Other reason, enter text in Any additional feedback? before continuing.

Delete the account

Select Delete to begin permanent deletion. Select Cancel to close the dialog without deleting the account.

Wait for Atlas to finish. After deletion completes, Atlas signs out the deleted account.

If deletion does not complete

Record the visible error and contact Atlas Support. Include the account email and the approximate time of the attempt. Never send a password, access token, or full payment-card number.
